Council is aware that significant responsibilities are placed on volunteers in grassroots sport. We are also aware that there can be changes in volunteer personnel from year to year.
To address both of these issues, in October 2010 we launched a New Committee Members Handbook. This handbook includes everything a new sports club volunteer needs to know about Council processes and requirements relevant to their new role as a club committee member.
This handbook (currently in draft form for review) contains valuable contacts, important initiatives we suggest you be involved in, key information to be aware of, and a step by step guide to processes you will be asked to undertake by Council.
