This year, residents, body corporates and schools will only be able to pick up trees from the City of Gold Coast Council's Nursery.  There will be no pick up points throughout the city.  The City of Gold Coast Council Nursery is situated on Shelter Road, Coombabah.  Operating hours for the nursery will be from 7.30am till 2pm on the allocated days.
 

Council uses a number of different tree varieties throughout the Gold Coast. The species include but are not limited to those on the Plant Selection Guide or on Council's Gold Coast Flora and Fauna website.


Schedule of days:

Residents - Thursdays till end of May
A January rates notice must be shown to receive your free tree.  This year residents will receive 1 x free tree.

Body Corporates - Wednesdays till end of May
Body Corporate/unit complex managers should submit their request in writing on letterhead and include details of three ratepayers from their complex. This year body corporate/unit complex managers will receive 5 x free trees.

Schools, Kindergartens, Community Groups - Wednesday (all year)
This year schools will receive 50 x free trees, kindergartens will receive 15 free trees, community groups free tree numbers will be advised on application. All requests to be submitted on letterhead and posted to:

The City of Gold Coast also attend community events throughout the City where free trees can be picked up.  Watch Council's website for further details on these events.
